Save while you read
Use the explicit Save action, or opt into a configurable dwell timer that only counts while a post is mostly visible.
A Chrome capture tool for Memos
Save posts, threads, media links, and bookmarks directly into your self-hosted Memos. No export ritual, no visible bookmark tab, no copy-paste queue.

Built around ownership
The extension writes to your chosen Memos instance with your PAT. Post content and credentials do not detour through Save X servers.
Use the explicit Save action, or opt into a configurable dwell timer that only counts while a post is mostly visible.
A background worker reuses your current X session, follows cursors in small batches, and never opens or scrolls a visible tab.
Author, timestamp, text, quote, canonical link, image URLs, video link, article links, and tags follow one deterministic format.
Paid enrichment adds a short summary and up to five tags. Failed AI never blocks the free direct save and never keeps a credit.
Simple split
$0 / forever
Everything needed to build your private X archive in Memos.
Credits / use
Spend credits only when a new post is summarized and tagged.
// questions
No. The PAT stays in Chrome local storage and is sent only to the Memos origin you approve.
No. It runs in the extension service worker using your current X session. If the private endpoint changes, sync stops with a compatibility error.
Nothing is deleted from Memos. Save X treats Memos as your durable archive; deletion is always an explicit action.
Only public post text, public author fields, the canonical URL, optional quoted text, and your tag policy. Cookies, PATs, headers, and media are excluded.
Keep the archive yours
Connect one Memos origin, choose your save rules, and keep browsing. Save X handles the repetitive part in the background.
